Local Entrepreneur Invited to Share Expertise in New Zealand
Laura Landsiedel to Instruct at New Zealand College of Massage
RALEIGH, NC (December 3, 2012) — Laura Landsiedel, Director of Bodywork Therapy Seminars (BTS), has been invited to instruct at the New Zealand College of Massage (NZCM) from January through July of 2013. Bodywork Therapy Seminars is a massage therapy continuing education program which operates as a division of Hands On Health Massage Therapy & Wellness, a facility that has operated in two locations in the Triangle for the past 9 years.
John Fiso, the CEO of the New Zealand Institute of Sport, was first introduced to Laura in October at the 2012 American Massage Therapy Association National Convention held in Raleigh, NC. Shortly after the convention, John reached out to Laura about the possibility of being an international instructor at the New Zealand College of Massage.

The New Zealand College of Massage (NZCM) was recently acquired by the New Zealand Institute of Sport, and is extremely advanced in its massage therapy education. In fact, therapists even earn a bachelor’s degree in massage therapy, including subject matter concentrations in neuromuscular massage, health sciences and sports therapy.
NZCM selected Laura after recognizing how Hands On Health has successfully developed a business model that also functions as a bridge for therapists as they transition from diploma level studies to applying advanced skills in professional practice. While instructing at the Wellington, NZ and Auckland, NZ schools, Laura will assist in bridging the gap between academic knowledge and successfully applying their knowledge as massage therapy practitioners. In addition, Laura will be working on creating an international exchange program for post-graduate professionals.
