Tammy is one of the founding partners of Hands On Health and has over 20 years of experience in the massage therapy field. She enjoys the challenge of being a business owner and loves health and fitness. Her years of being in sales and management has helped grow a thriving massage therapy group practice. She likes to make people feel great by facilitating their path to optimal health and vitality.

Beyond leading a massage practice her passion lies in working with clients using massage techniques that help the body and the mind. Tammy enjoys working with all kinds of athletes, pregnant women and applying Neuromuscular therapy for people with TMJD, fibromyalgia and headache pain. She also has extensive experience with special populations such as those with Ehler’s Danlos Syndrom, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, and Multiple Sclerosis.

Laura is the co-founder of Hands On Health and director of its continuing education school. In addition to her bodywork practice, Laura directs and developed Hands On Health’s national continuing education and certification program, Bodywork Therapy Seminars. The Bodywork Therapy Seminars CE program mainly focus on clinical therapy and includes a certification program, Integrated Neuromuscular-Myofascial Technique (I-NMT).

She is a former instructor of the Medical Arts Massage School and Miller-Motte College in Raleigh, NC. People challenged by repetitive strain injury, lumbar and cervical dysfunction, and chronic headaches find relief with Laura’s treatments. She has a following among community members who suffer connective tissue disorders such as EDS. She is comfortable with and experienced in working with those who suffer neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s Disease.

In 2013, Laura was guest instructor for years 1, 2, and 3 at the New Zealand College Of Massage. She supported their neuromuscular therapy certification program during a school transition.
