We are excited to participate for a second year in a row in this annual event that benefits the MS Society. It’s always fun to get out in the community and help our local athletes, clients and friends by relieving muscle spasms and flushing out tissues for a speedy recovery. This year, the event will be on the 4th of July.

Last year we had a few members of our Hands On Health team giving sports massage to some of the 900+ cyclists after they finished the race. “As a member of the CCC, I always look forward to doing the Firecracker Ride. It’s for a great cause and knowing that Hands On Health will provide massage services after the ride, makes the day and my muscles much better!” says Angel Cartagena, cyclist extraordinaire.

There is a great post race party that takes place at the Hibernian parking lot. This family friendly event not only includes our fantastic massage but music, food, watermelons and cold beverages. Be on the lookout for Hands On Health crew, Carolyn and China will be underneath a tent with fans and massage tables to help people beat the heat of the 4th of July day. Massage services will be $1 a minute and 20% of our proceeds will be donated to MS.  For information about Capital Cycling Club or to sign up for this ride, see the course map, etc. visit http://capcycling.org/.
