FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Cary, NC – Medical and therapeutic massage center Hands On Health (HOH) is expanding into a new 2,400 square-foot facility at Independence Plaza near Interstate-40 and Chapel Hill Road in Cary, NC. The move will bring Hands On Health’s two Triangle locations under one roof with Bodywork Therapy Seminars (BTS), a division of Hands On Health. Bodywork Therapy Seminars is a National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork accredited continuing education school for massage therapy.

“We’re excited about expanding our course offerings to students and practitioners within the region and look forward to this partnership with Hands On Health as a perfect opportunity to take our school to the next level,” said Laura Landsiedel Ford, Continuing Education Director at Bodywork Therapy Seminars.

In 2013, Laura was invited by the New Zealand College of Massage in Auckland, to teach as a full-time professor as part of an International Massage Therapy Program. She will integrate many of their techniques and educational practices into the Bodywork Therapy Seminars school. This unique partnership will allow Bodywork Therapy Seminars students, many of whom are seasoned industry practitioners, to learn about the latest massage in Cary NC therapy techniques, modalities and technologies in one facility that will perfectly blend academic and real-world practice environments. Many of the Hands On Health therapists have earned various certifications through Bodywork Therapy Seminars courses throughout their career and a few even serve as instructors throughout the spring and fall semesters.

Hands On Health clients will have a wider selection of appointment availability in the new, custom-built facility that will house the entire staff of highly skilled massage therapists. They will also enjoy a wider range of new classes. Hands On Health and Bodywork Therapy Seminars plan to launch a series of client-focused classes like “Headache Relief 101,” “Back Pain Relief 101,” “Massage As a Way of Life,” and “Pregnancy & Infant Massage” classes among others.

“For the last 10  years, Hands On Health has kept a tradition of serving clients who demand a more sophisticated level of medical and therapeutic massage therapy expertise. With this partnership, we look forward to continuing as your ‘Partners In Health. Partners In Healing.‘ for the next 10 years and beyond,” said Tammy Campbell, Co-Founder of Hands On Health.

In addition to greater opportunities and amenities for clients and students, Hands On Health plans to expand its team in preparation for the move and is actively seeking to hire up to 10 additional highly skilled massage therapists to join the team.
