Dominic Martinez
Dominic is a licensed massage and bodywork therapist who blends technical skill, thoughtful attention, and a deep understanding of movement in every session. A graduate of Wake Tech's Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork program in 2018, he helps clients reduce pain, improve mobility, and move through life with greater ease. His approach is shaped by years of study at the Chinese Shaolin Center, where he trained in Tai Chi, Chi Gong, Chin-Na, and Kung Fu, along with his experience as an elite-level competitive cyclist. These experiences inform his understanding of the body’s demands, recovery, and how subtle movement and tension patterns affect overall function. Dominic’s style combines focused therapeutic work with a calming, restorative touch. He specializes in neck, shoulders, back, and hip tension, helping clients find meaningful relief while staying relaxed during sessions. What keeps him engaged in this work is his fascination with individual differences. “I've always been interested in how differently we all experience life and carry stress in our bodies. No two people are exactly alike, and that's what makes this work so meaningful to me.” This perspective guides how he listens, observes, and tailors each session. Outside the treatment room, Dominic is a self-taught cellist with a passion for Baroque music, especially the works of Johann Sebastian Bach. His musical background, including earning third place in an international competition, has shaped his patience, sensitivity, and attention to detail. He also enjoys cycling (currently gravel riding) and continues to explore movement through time on the bike. In addition, he occasionally performs in downtown areas to raise money, which he donates directly to people experiencing homelessness. Dominic’s goal is to create a welcoming space where clients feel heard, respected, and genuinely cared for, supporting their path toward greater comfort, resilience, and well-being.

5 star review from Debby D on Google:“Dominic is very skilled and caring. My daughter who has Transverse Myelitis and is stiff and has many areas where her muscles are tight always feels so much better after her sessions.”
5 star review from Asher S. on Google:
I really appreciate getting massage from Dominic, since my tough muscles need a strong hand to fix. Also the place is really peaceful, so I always appreciate going in. Just remember the entrance is on the north side, away from C.H. Road!
5 star review from Meenaksi B. on Google:
I can’t recommend Dominic enough! As someone who was a bit hesitant since it was my first time getting a massage, he immediately put me at ease and made me feel comfortable throughout the session.
What stands out most is how attentively he listens — he takes the time to understand my specific issues and is incredibly mindful when working on my back problems. He’s polite and super considerate.
I leave every session feeling noticeably better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone who genuinely listens and tailors the massage to what you actually need.
