We are excited to welcome Karla to our team! A graduate of The Medical Arts School in Raleigh, Karla brings a diverse healthcare background and a passion for helping others feel their best. Her experience includes 26 years as an Emergency Medical Technician with UNC Health Rex, teaching massage therapy at Gwinnett College, and working as a Clinical Research Specialist. Having served in hospitals, wellness centers, fitness facilities, and spas, she offers a well-rounded approach to client care. Karla specializes in therapeutic massage, with a focus on deep tissue work, trigger point therapy, and tool-assisted techniques using a heated massage scraper. Outside of the treatment room, she is an avid cyclist, has completed seven half marathons, fosters cats, and volunteers with a rescue organization in Cary. She is also planning to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology.
