Massage Therapist

Joella is a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist who completed her massage and bodywork training at Central Carolina Community College in 2023, and holds a certification as a Nurse Aide from Caldwell Community College. She has pursued over 80 hours of additional continuing education, deepening her expertise in techniques such as cupping, gua-sha, myofascial release, neuromuscular facilitation, sports massage, orthopedic massage, medical massage, and trigger point therapy.

As a trauma-informed therapist, Joella has experience working with clients managing PTSD and specializes in integrating nervous system focused techniques into her sessions. Her background includes extensive work with military personnel and athletes, and she enjoys helping clients recover from injuries, improve mobility, and address concerns like hypermobility, sciatica, and plantar fasciitis. Joella especially loves longer sessions, blending multiple modalities to create a personalized experience for each client.

She is also comfortable offering unique services such as couples massage instruction, elderly/home healthcare massage, and specialized medical massage.

Outside of the massage room, Joella lives an adventurous and creative life…she practices partner and aerial acrobatics, juggling, and other circus arts! She also enjoys backpacking, rock climbing, kayaking, and mobility training. When she’s not moving, you’ll find her reading, walking her pit mix Layla, enjoying live music, or learning swing dance. Her friends describe her as “a shot of espresso that can go decaf.”

You’ll love Joella’s energy, skill, and passion for helping others feel their best! Book a session with her and experience it for yourself!
