Michael Lasater-Sizemore
Massage Therapist
After graduating from UNC Charolotte in 2016, I took some time to explore working in ministry settings before deciding on massage therapy as a career. I graduated from Wake Tech Community College in July 2023 and licensed August 2023. Prior to graduating from massage therapy school I took the initiative to upskill in more clinical massage techniques along side the team at Hands On Health, spending 50 additional hours getting to know the team and the specialty. I love the whole body approach that comes from clinical massage work within the massage therapy field. If there is an issue with muscles and connective tissue within the low back, I am not limited in only working on a pre-scripted treatment of a shoulder. Alongside a doctor’s prescription, if necessary, my clients and I can work together on treatment goals and frequency of massage. I personally use massage therapy to help the body and mind stay in touch despite any busy times that I may be experiencing in life.
A few fun facts about me:
- I have an awesome and crazy cat named Cheeto (see pic below)
- I love hammocking, hiking, and gardening.
- I spend a laughable amount of time watching soccer (Chelsea FC is my team!)
- I’m weird and don’t listen to much music in the car. It’s podcasts or silence for me.
- Board games are life.
- Nick Miller from the show New Girl is my spirit animal.
Five Star Review:
So far the best deep tissue/trigger point massage I’ve ever had. So worth it!! Michael was very nice, knowledgeable, took the time to understand my problems, and was very intentional with his technique. I walked out with instant tension and pain relief, which I don’t always experience in other massages I’ve gotten.

HOH is awesome, I went to Michael for about a month or so for a mild hip/glute issue and he really helped! He is super knowledgeable, a great listener, and always made me feel heard and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone in need of a great massage, whether its for a specific issue or just as a treat.

Great staff. Michael, my massage therapist, was friendly, attentive, and professional. He warmly welcomed my request to listen to my own music while getting a massage. I’d certainly rebook with them!

Five Star Review:
My last massage with Michael blew me away. I am a massage therapist with neck pain and it is hard to find someone to do specific work on all those muscles. I worked with him when he first started but with all the in service training he’s received, he has really turned the corner with his care and technique. His work was specific and the depth of his treatment was perfect for my needs. He did this amazing hold on the back of my occipital muscles that really helped release the tension. I recommend others to get on his table!
