Massage Therapist

Ashley has been practicing in NC as a licensed massage and bodywork therapist since late 2020. She received her therapeutic massage and bodywork certificate from Gwinnett College in Raleigh in 2020. Ashley is passionate about kinesiology and exercise science and how massage can assist an athlete’s performance goals. It means a lot to her to help people have a sense of balance in their nervous system. Her pressure is firm when necessary yet she embraces a balanced touch. “I want to know everything about everything so I’ll be taking all the continuing education options presented to me! I love to work with people who want to do some work to get things feeling better and at the same time sometimes an overall body treatment can keep people ticking.”

Fun facts: Alex is the oldest of 5 kids and she too has 5 kids, making for good family times. “When I was 12, I earned my 2nd degree black belt. Elephants are my favorite animals and red is my favorite color but I’ve never seen a red elephant! I love to take my kids out to explore fun places so if you know of any great places we should check out, please share!”

Five Star Review

Each of the massage therapists I visited in this practice has been very skillful and helpful. So far the best therapeutic massage for my rotator cuff injury was from Ashley, who really seems to understand injury physiology. I’m so glad to find a really professional practice for my bodywork and health needs!

Five Star Review

Ashley has a friendly and lively personality. I enjoy her bodywork and it’s nice to catch up too. She’s also great when I just want quiet and to relax – I just share that with her before those kinds of sessions. Her work can be intense and targeted at times including some stretching and sports techniques but that is the kind of massage I like!
