Hands On Health is proud to sponsor the 22nd Annual Firecracker 100K and 50K Ride, which will start at 8:00 AM on July 4th, 2014, from All Star Bike Shop located in the Salt Box Village shopping center in Cary, NC. The annual signature event is organized by the Capital Cycling Club (CCC).

Over 900 cyclists are expected to gather to celebrate Independence Day and support the Greater Carolina’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society with a scenic ride through Wake, Chatham and Harnett Counties.

Hands On Health is excited to support this event for a third consecutive year. As sports massage specialists, trusted by the Triangle medical community, we take great pride in getting out into the community and assisting our local athletes, clients, and friends. Our therapists will be on-site assisting participants by relieving muscle spasms and flushing out tissues for a speedy post-race recovery.

As a member of the CCC, I always look forward to doing the Firecracker Ride. It’s for a great cause and knowing that Hands On Health will provide massage services after the ride, makes the day and my muscles feel much better!

— Angel Cartagena, CCC Cyclist

Throughout the entire race, rest stops with food and refreshments will be provided by Whole Foods on both the 100K and 50K routes. In addition, the Hibernian Restaurant and Pub in Cary, NC will host a post-ride party for participants and their friends. In fact, the Hibernian will be open during the entire ride so that non-cycling friends and family can enjoy the restaurant while they wait for participants to finish.

This is a family friendly event that not only includes the healing hands of our staff massage therapists, but also includes music, food, and cold beverages.

If you’re planning on attending the 22nd Annual Firecracker Ride, please visit our team under the Hands On Health tent, filled with amenities like fans, water, and massage tables to help people beat the heat from day’s festivities. Massage services will be $1 a minute and 20% of our proceeds will be donated to the Greater Carolina’s Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Society.
